Heaven Is For Real!

It has been a rainy day in my sleepy little town. The perfect day to snuggle up and with a good book and read all day.  That is exactly what I did!  I began (and finished) Heaven Is For Real.  It was so good. Heaven Is For Real recounts the amazing journey of Colton Burpo.  When Colton was 3 he had an out of body experience during an operation.  Colton went to Heaven!

Heaven Is For Real gave me some hints of what Heaven will be like.  I get so excited thinking about what it will be like in Heaven. It sure gives Christians something to hold on to during the harder days in life.  One thing that stuck out to me (there were a lot of things stuck out, but I will just tell you one) was Colton's desire to make sure people knew Jesus before they died.  Colton became very upset when someone would die and their salvation was undetermined.  He knew how great Heaven was and didn't want anyone to miss out.  We need to be like that too!  Not only so people can go to Heaven but be saved from Hell.  Jesus gave us The Commission.  We need to do our job.  I don't know about you, but I want a big family in Heaven with millions and millions of  brothers and sisters!

Taking Advantage of Leap Day 2012

Hi Everyone,
This is my first blog post!  I am very new at this.  I thought that I would use the Leap Day as a chance to start a blog.  I have thought about starting a blog for awhile. I keep thinking I would do it later.  Today is as good as any other day.  I not sure how often I will post. Any of my Facebook friends will tell you, that my statuses are few and far between.

Are you taking advantage of Leap Day this year?  Everyday is a gift.  I don't see it that way most of the time. I look at the day with a list of "have to's" instead of "get to's."

It may take me a little while to get a hang of this blogging but I think it will be fun. :)
